Available in sizes ranging from 3 to 36 inches, the Rosemount 8707’s sealed housing guarantees optimal reliability for flowtube sensors by shielding all internal components and wiring from harsh environments.
Employing pulsed DC technology, Rosemount magmeter systems offer continuous automatic zeroing to compensate for variations in the process environment. For use with 8712H transmitters, the process liquid must have a conductivity of 50 microsiemens/cm (50 micromhos/cm), or 5 microsiemens/cm when used with other transmitters.
Rosemount 8707 sensors are compatible with 8732, 8712, and 8712H high-signal transmitters, ensuring system accuracy irrespective of line size or optional features. Each sensor nameplate carries a sixteen-digit calibration number, which can be input into a transmitter via the Local Operator Interface (LOI) or the HART Communicator.
