S7-200 Expansion Modules for 2nd & 3rd Generation

These modules are designed to expand the I/O capacity of S7-200 CPUs. S7-222 can accommodate up to 2 modules, with a maximum of 78 I/O. S7-224 and S7-226 CPUs support up to 7 modules, with a maximum of 128 I/O and 248 respectively. The modules come in 24Vdc or 85-245Vac powered versions, offering digital input, output, combined forms, as well as analogue input, output, and temperature sensor modules.

Apart from digital signals, the S7-200 series can directly process analogue signals from sensors or actuators using an analogue expansion module.
