Rosemount 8750W Magnetic Flow Meter
The Rosemount 8750W magnetic flow meter brings together performance, reliability and intelligent diagnostics to create a superior solution for water, wastewater, and utility flow measurement.
Available in sizes ranging from 1/2 to 48 inches, the 8750W features fully welded construction to withstand vibration and dual-compartment transmitter housing to keep electronics isolated from moisture and contamination. This robust design provides the reliability and accuracy needed to keep important processes running.
The 8750 includes a field or wall mounted transmitter for fast, intuitive, and easy configuration. The field mount Rosemount 32ES transmitter includes die cast aluminum housing for excellent reliability. It is available with an optional backlit two line by 16 character local operator interface, and the transmitter can be configured by optical switches to simplify adjustments without removing the cover.
The wall mount Rosemount 12ES transmitter features an easy to use operator interface and the Rosemount magmeter diagnostics. The intuitive 15 button keypad provides instant access to the most commonly used functions, and the 2 line by 20 character display provides clear indication.
The Rosemount 8750W uses wafer or flanged process connections. Flanged sensors are fabricated from stainless and carbon steel and welded to provide a hermetic seal that protects against moisture and other contaminants.
The flangeless design of the wafer sensor makes it an economical, compact, and lightweight alternative to flanged models. Alignment spacers provided with every sensor assist with centering the sensor in the process line making installation easier.
Rosemount 8705 Flanged Magnetic Flow Meter Sensors
Rosemount 8705 flanged magnetic flow meter sensors are fabricated from stainless and carbon steel, and welded to provide a hermetic seal that protects against moisture and other contaminants. The sealed housing in the 8705 flanged flowtube ensures maximum flowtube sensor reliability by protecting all internal components and wiring from the most hostile environments.
The Rosemount 8705\’s obstructionless design features no moving parts, which minimizes maintenance and repair. The sensor features a removable and replaceable terminal block that enables easy repair in the field without the need to replace the entire meter. The 8705 also offers optional secondary containment compartments that surround electrodes and capture any potential process fluid leakage. An optional lining protector is also available to guard against installation damage and leading-edge wear.
Rosemount magmeter systems use pulsed DC technology that provides continuous automatic zeroing to compensate for variations in the process environment. Process liquid must have a conductivity of 5 microsiemens/cm (5 micromhos/cm) or greater.
Rosemount 8700 series flowtubes are interchangeable with both the 8712D and 8732 flow transmitters. System accuracy is maintained regardless of line size or optional features. Each Rosemount 8705 flanged flowtube nameplate has a sixteen-digit calibration number that can be entered into a transmitter through the Local Operator interface or the HART Communicator, depending on model.
Instrumart is an IDWR-approved flow meter vendor
The Rosemount 8700 series flanged flowtube sensors is a IDWR-certified flow meter as outlined in the Idaho Department of Water Resources state order requiring flow meters to be installed by water users that divert water in regulated areas from both ground and surface water sources. This flow meter was tested by the staff at Utah State\’s NIST traceable lab and passed all requirements set by the IDWR and Idaho Department of Agriculture. If you have any questions about this flow meter or what IDWR-approved flow meter best fits your application, please ask one of our helpful engineers. 1-800-884-4967.

Rosemount 3051SFA ProBar Flow Meter
The Rosemount 3051SFA ProBar® differential pressure flow meter incorporates the exceptional performance of the Rosemount 485 Annubar® primary element with the Rosemount 3051S pressure transmitter producing a reliable, cost-effective flow measuring device that performs extraordinarily well in a variety of applications.
Differential pressure (DP) flow meters utilize a primary element that operates by sensing an impact pressure and reference pressure through sensing ports and averaging them to get a flow measurement. The Rosemount 3051SFA is particularly effective with clean liquids.
By integrating pressure transmitter electronics with the primary element, the Rosemount 3051SFA ProBar® is a fully integrated flow meter that performs to the highest standards while providing installation flexibility, reducing costs and saving time.
Components of the Rosemount 3051SFA ProBar® Differential Pressure Flow Meter include the following:
Rosemount 3051S Multivariable Pressure Transmitter
The Rosemount 3051S transmitter enables pressure, temperature, and fully compensated mass and energy flow measurements. It is fully scalable and allows users to customize performance, functionality, diagnostics, and connection systems depending upon the application. The 3051S utilizes advanced software and functionality including a 4-20mA signal based on Hart® Communication or FOUNDATION™ fieldbus, user configured flow units, low flow cut-off, and process alerts for pressure and temperature.
Annubar® Primary Flow Elements
Rosemount Annubar primary elements feature a revolutionary shape to improve the accuracy and repeatability of every flow measurement point. Tight process control is gained by increased signal strength and reduced signal noise. Real-time mass flow measurements are available with the integral temperature sensor design. The patented T-shaped sensor includes a sealed, pressure-retaining thermowell that permits mass flow in all line sizes with a single pipe penetration.
